What can I use on site?
The available spaces are the native garden courtyards, the south field, and the upper and lower spaces between classrooms. We have available electrical, WiFi, and parking areas. We provide directional signage to highlight the event entrance, restrooms and parking areas. Classrooms, greenhouses, chicken coops, and the crop fields are not available for use. No picking or harvesting is allowed.
Can I store items overnight?
We do not have a covered or secure area to store items prior to events. The east side of the office deck may be used to store items, if needed.
Do you have a kitchen or can we cook at the site?
We do not have a kitchen for events. Catering or outdoor rental cooking equipment is permitted, and we can set up a portable outdoor sink if required by a caterer.
Can alcohol be served at my event?
A one day permit is required for all non-profit hosted and fundraising events. Private events require a vendor with a permit.
Can I bring a fire pit?
No fire pits, candles, or open flame allowed. Outdoor heaters and pizza ovens are permissible.
No Smoking.
No smoking, vaping, sparklers, or fireworks are allowed on the premises at any time.
What if it rains?
We do not have a rain contingency plan. If weather is questionable, you are permitted to rent a large event tent.
Do you allow dogs?
Dog and other pets are not allowed on the property due to organic certification regulations.
What does the custodial fee cover?
The custodial fee ensures an EUSD employee is on-site for the duration of the event. This staff member will open the property for you at the designated set-up start time, maintains restrooms, is the users POC, and secures the site following the event. The EUSD team member is not responsible for event set-up or clean-up; that is the responsibility of the user.
Can we clean up the next day?
The majority of event clean-up needs to be handled on the evening of the event. No food or alcohol can be left on the premises outside of event hours. Rental item pick up can occur the morning after your event - if arranged in advance.
